THE IMAGE

This image always makes me think of the Scottish song, “You tak’ the high road and I’ll tak’ the low road…” On this day, we took the high road, and the view was breathtaking! The River Tay shimmered like silver in the sunlight, while the Perth to Dundee road appeared as a thin line in the distance. I love this part of Scotland, not just for its beauty, but because it feels like the road home, winding through the stunning Perthshire countryside on the way to Dundee.

This signed fine art Giclée print by Carol McEwan is stretched onto a 2cm deep box canvas. The texture added to the lush green fields resembles blankets knitted by the sheep themselves.

“The picture is absolutely gorgeous and the photos don’t do it justice. It was a Christmas gift for my Mam who used to holiday in Pittenweem as a child, and she absolutely loved it. “

Customer Reviews

I couldn’t be happier with the prints I purchased from Carol ( Set of 3 Highland Landscapes) they are really beautiful pieces of art and the colour and texture works really well with the genuine slate cladding in our hallway.

The prints were really well packaged and protected and delivery was super-quick. Carol’s communication throughout were absolutely superb and it was a real pleasure doing business with her. Highly Recommended!

I ordered a print from Carol via her internet site and she could not have been more helpful as I had special delivery requirements due to the postal strikes.

Carol kept me informed every step of the way by email and my print arrived very well packaged and on time. Great service and lovely print!

Carol's paintings touch a nerve; once you have visited the Scottish Highlands you long to return. It gives me great solace to look at her wonderful paintings. "My heart's in the Highlands, my heart is not here"....(Robert Burns, Scotland's greatest poet)
Plockton Thistles is a print with blue colours and tweed texture and a blue sea. There's mountains in the background and purple thistles in the foreground.
