Questions
What does archival quality mean?
Each print is printed using a 12 pigment ink system using professional Canon archival inks. These are different to your usual standard printing inks as they have been carefully designed not to fade.
The paper used for all of the mounted prints is Canson Infinity Etching Rage in a heavy 310gsm weight. This is classed a fine art paper and it’s made from 100% cotton without any artificial optical brightening agents.
Every print is individually signed by Carol, the artist.
Do you post framed prints?
I do post my prints in frames however if you are abroad it might be safer (and cheaper for you) to buy a frame at home. I use glass in the frames which may not travel well internationally after getting chucked about via airlines. Of course I try to package everything to avoid damages but to be on the safe side I’d recommend buying a mounted print if you live outside of the UK. Framed orders within the UK are usually sent by Royal Mail who seem to take more care than some other couriers.
Will I pay customs charges
Postage prices include customs fees. I send using a service called Duty Pre-Paid which means I fill in all of the customs information and pay any customs/tarrif fees here before it’s sent. If you have any issues you can always contact me – hello@carolmcewan.scot
Can I send it to a different address or as a gift?
Yes, many people do this. You can put a separate delivery address to your billing address on the checkout page.
What currency will I pay in?
All prices are in GB pounds sterling (£). Your bank or card company will convert the amount at it’s own rate and may add a small fee for the currency conversion so it might be worth checking with them first if you want to know for sure. You can also easily pay with PayPal.
Can I track the parcel?
You will automatically receive the tracking number for the parcel when your order is booked with the courier, shortly before despatch.
What is your return policy?
We always do our best to ensure our customers are happy and are proud of our 5 star customer service. If however you are not happy with your order for any reason then please e-mail Carol in the first instance at hello@carolmcewan.scot
In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged, please get in touch and it will be replaced or refunded.
Online customers have the right to cancel their order within 30 days of receiving their goods.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and returned in the same condition that you received it within 30 days. It must be in the original packaging. You will receive a refund minus the cost of shipping.
You can find my full returns policy here.

Carol's paintings touch a nerve; once you have visited the Scottish Highlands you long to return. It gives me great solace to look at her wonderful paintings.
