THE IMAGE
Seton Sands captures the expansive, quiet beauty of the East Lothian coastline at low tide. The view looks out across the Firth of Forth toward the distant hills of Fife, framed by a soft, overcast Scottish sky. Two people are standing in the distance admiring the view and there’s many seagulls all sunning themselves on the shore on the right hands side.
To enhance the atmospheric feel of the shore, this piece incorporates layers of watercolour paint textures. These hand-painted elements create a fluid, ethereal quality that mimics the shifting light and tidal pools found along the beach, turning my photography into a more ethereal artwork.
SPECIAL EDITION FORMAT
Unlike my standard square mounted prints, this “Seton Sands” artwork is a one-off special edition produced in a rectangular format. This allows the wide horizon of the East Lothian coast to truly breathe. This release is a trial to see if you prefer these classic dimensions over my usual square style.

Signed & Titled: Each print is hand-signed and titled by the artist.
Museum Quality: Printed onto heavyweight (310gsm) museum-grade, fine art paper.
Giclée Process: We use high-quality pigment inks to create a Giclée print designed to last a lifetime without fading.
These measurements are the outer edge of the mount/paper (the glass area of a frame). This is the size you will see when buying a ready made frame.
