THE IMAGE
As well as being the oldest building in Dunfermline, Abbot House is also one of my favourites, mostly due to the lovely pinky-red colour.  I added a thistle damask pattern into the road of my print as a nod to its textile past.  This area used to be very well known for damask linen production.  If you go around the back of Abbot House you’ll see it shares a garden with the Carnegie Library & Galleries which then leads onto the stunning Dunfermline Abbey.
